When The Chef and I started this blog in January, we did not realize at first that blogging involves building community. After our work is done for the day, the nurturing and raising of our two young children and attempting to keep the house from looking like a disaster hit it, we have not had much time to put into building community. So it has been a slow process, but it is one aspect of blogging that I’ve really enjoyed, being a SAHM/WAHM. We’d love to reply to every single comment, and we do read all of them.
Recently, our Google Connect Friends surpassed 100, and today, our Facebook Fans moved beyond the 300 mark! So we thought this called for a celebration for all that you, our readers, have meant to us and this blog. One of our readers, Sheri, owns an Art Studio on Etsy. She recently sponsored a giveaway as a part of our Christmas series, and today, she is sponsoring a giveaway prize from her lovely studio as a kind of parallel to the Christmas series as well:
Please make sure you read through the instructions in Rafflecopter for each entry opportunity!Â
Thank you, Sheri, and thank you, each of you, for helping us build community here at The Saturday Evening Pot. Your feedback through comments and on Facebook means so much to us, because it helps us know what content we share you are enjoying most and helps us plan for what we offer in the future.
*Important note regarding Facebook:
One of our foodie friends recently shared on Facebook:
FB controls what shows up on your newsfeed via their algorithm formula. It means if you post a comment or like our posts then most probably you will see our future posts. However, if you are a silent reader and do not comment or like any of our posts you will no longer see us in your newsfeed. So don’t forget to “Like” this post or you may miss our future updates. Thank you!
