Pork and Feta Burgers | Secret Recipe Club Reveal

Pork and Feta Burgers

Ever had a pork burger before? We hadn’t until this recipe … and they were a hit! So yummy we definitely will be having them again.

Secret Recipe Club Reveal Time!

It’s Secret Recipe Club reveal time again and this month I was assigned to Things I Make (for Dinner), a blog written by Sarah, who enjoys cooking, travel and sleeping, especially sleeping, she says! A girl after my own heart.

The one thing I look forward to about the teenage years is the late sleeping. I better not jinx myself though … mine will be the rare ones who don’t fit that stereotype.

So the past few weeks have been extremely busy. We’re home schooling again, so there’s that. Getting back into the school routine is an adjustment, not to mention everything else we have going on right now.

Chef John saves the day …. again :)

I have to confess … Chef John helped me out again this month. Thankfully! And he’s especially happy about this recipe, an adaptation of Sarah’s Salmon and Feta Burgers from Looneyspoons Collection.

We just finished a batch of salmon patties. So Chef John suggested we substitute pork instead. Since we don’t get to eat pork very often due to our son’s sensitivities, we decided this was a good time to have some. We also left the breadcrumbs out, used less lemon zest and sage instead of dill.

Chef John’s “review” … “I don’t even like feta, but these are good!!” I agree. They were really good. And so did my sister, who was here and tried them.

Your turn … give them a try!

  5. I have never had a pork burger either, but it sounds great! And I don’t understand “don’t like feta.” Haha! It’s my favorite. I don’t really like blue cheese, though, so people probably think that’s weird.
