Beef Bacon Gravy Recipe

Try bacon gravy with beef bacon for a bit of a different flavor ... delicious!

Ingredients
  • ½ pound of beef bacon diced
  • 1 stick of butter
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Approximately 3 cups of whole milk
Instructions
  1. Brown crumbled bacon slowly over medium low heat in non-stick skillet until golden brown, extracting fat.
  2. Add stick of butter and melt slowly. Once butter has melted add flour and stir in, absorbing as much liquid as possible.
  3. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Simmer on low to medium heat until gravy thickens. Add more milk if needed. Warm through.
  4. Serve over open faced buttermilk biscuits or toast of your choosing.
