So this story about a shocking Monsanto casting call is personal to me as well because it happened to a fellow blogger friend of mine. You won’t believe what Monsanto is doing. Or if you know about the current fight at the ballot box this year between the voters and companies like Monsanto and manufacturers who don’t want to change their labeling, maybe you will.
Monsanto is Using Our Kids to Perpetuate Their Lies! (via www.scrumptiousmoms.com)
Monsanto is up to no good and they are preying on sweet innocent children and families to perpetuate their evil scheme. Let me explain … Like many of the little girls living in LA my 7 year old Sabrina dreams of being on Television. So after much…
As I was working on reposting this article, I came across another one, and I find the two, looked at side by side, quite ironic: Is Your Child a GMO Science Experiment?
As parents, we know it is our job to do everything we can to protect our children. But that job is certainly being made quite difficult by those fighting against common sense labeling laws.
What’s so wrong with letting consumers make up their own minds? In fact, that’s what would be fair and right. But the bottom line seems that they obviously know this will mean either less profit or GMOs fading away for good. If there is truly nothing to hide or worry about healthwise, as they claim, then why are GMOs banned or restricted in over 60 countries and what harm does labeling do?
Did you know that Oregon, Colorado and Arizona are working on ballot initiatives for this year in November? Do you know where your state currently stands? You can find out here (click on your state on the map). For our state, there was a petition to sign for our governor on the issue.
If like us, this is an issue that deeply concerns you, at best, please get involved.

I have mixed feelings. I would love to see GMO versus non-GMO labelled by law. However, GMO foods have not been proven harmful. Then again, GMO have not been proven safe. I think the fight needs to be taken a step further. We need to insist on many, many studies on the safety of GMO foods.
